General objectives

  • Understanding each step of the digital flow sequence in dental implant planning.

  • Be able to carry out all the steps in planning the placement of prosthetically guided implants; starting with the CBCT study, selecting the implant position based on a previous digital wax-up, and ending with the design of the surgical splint and its printing.

  • Be able to use CoDiagnostiXTM, surgical splint planning and design software.

  • Know how to generate a digital wax-up from digital models.

  • Know how to clean, repair and prepare surgical splints.

Highlighted features

In-person practical course, aimed at general dentists or implantologists who want to learn how to use a guided surgery planning system for the placement of their implants, design their surgical splints and have the option of printing them as well.

Small group coursepersonalized, held over a full day, intensive,, in the Semüi center located in Barcelona.

The program tools for the program CoDiagnostiXTM are described and you learn step by step, the planning of single and multiple implants with teeth present in the arch.

No previous knowledge is required on the subject, since the course is organized to develop the entire theory from the foundations and in a chronology that facilitates its understanding.

The organization will provide all students with all the necessary materials for the hands-on part of the course.

Coffee breaks will be provided by the organization.

Design and printing of surgical splints

  • Learn the fundamental elements of digital waxing software

  • Place the interrelated models in the software to be able to design the dental anatomy.

  • Design of the surgical splint for implant placement.

  • Printers and key aspects to consider before printing guided splints.

Planning in guided implantology

  • Review of the digital workflow sequence in planning an implant-supported rehabilitation.

  • Alignment of CBCT with the digital model.

  • Planning with CoDiagnostiXTM software the placement of the implant according to the previous prosthetic planning.
